Lottie May White was born on August 10, 1923 in Poplar Bluff, Butler County Missouri. She was the fifth child of eight born to parents Grant Washington White and Alice Mae McKee.
In 1930, the family is living in Richland Township, Scott County, Missouri. Lottie is six years old.
On December 7, 1943, Lottie married Paul Wade Eakins in New Madrid County, Missouri.
Together, they went on to have three children:

- Living Eakins
- Paul Anthony Eakins (b. 1951 – d. 2006)
Lottie later remarried in 1986 to Gilbert Fryman in Campbell County, Kentucky.

Lottie is described as follows: ”"[She] had worked on a cotton farm, did janitorial work in schools, and was a baby-sitter and caregiver. She enjoyed shopping.”
On November 13, 2008, Lottie passed away at her home in North Vernon, Indiana. She was 85 years old. She was buried at Vernon Cemetery.
