Heinrich Christoph “Christian” Friedrich Eggers was born on September 13, 1833 in Gadebusch Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.  Geadebusch is about fifty miles southwest of Dummerstorf.  His parents were Juaquim Eggers and Sophia Strohkirch.
