George John Propst (1770-1823)
George John Propst was born in 1770 in Pendleton County, Virginia which is now West Virginia. He was the middle child of five children born to parents Leonard Propst and Mary Catherine Miller. He went by the name John throughout his life. In 1795, John married Evaline Mary Ficker in Pendleton County, Virginia.
