Clark Curtis Greenman was born on November 2, 1845 in Rochester, New York. He was the second youngest of five children born to parents Stephen G. Greenman and Lucinda Curtis. Clark’s father passed away when he was a very young and his mother never remarried. The family is first found in 1850, living in Waterford, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
